About the session
Introduce young adventurers to the underwater world with the **PADI Junior Open Water Course**, a fun, safe, and internationally recognized scuba diving certification designed specifically for children aged 10 to 14. Offered by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors, this course is the perfect way for kids to learn scuba diving while building confidence and essential life skills.

Event description
The PADI Junior Open Water Course follows a structured and engaging program that combines theory lessons, confined water training, and open water dives. Young divers will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including how to use equipment, communicate underwater, control buoyancy, and follow safe diving practices—all taught in a supportive and age-appropriate environment. Safety is always the top priority, with certified PADI instructors providing close supervision and guidance throughout the course. Students will complete a series of training dives in calm, shallow water before progressing to open water dives, where they can explore coral reefs and encounter marine life in real conditions. Upon completion, junior divers will be certified to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters (for ages 10–11) or 18 meters (for ages 12–14), always under the supervision of a certified adult or professional. This certification is recognized worldwide and can later be upgraded to a full PADI Open Water Diver certification.
